In this article, we will explain what Dashboard View Modes are and how to use them to compare your campaign survey results from different perspectives.
What Are Dashboard View Modes?
Dashboard View Modes allow you to switch between three different comparison perspectives within a campaign survey. Each mode helps you analyze your results in a unique way — whether you want to compare against benchmarks, target groups, or previous campaigns.
1. Benchmark
The Benchmark view compares your campaign survey results against available benchmarks, such as:
- Own benchmark (your historical averages)
- Industry benchmark
This view highlights how your campaign compares to what is typical in your industry or within your own historical data.
2. Filter
The Filter view lets you compare results across different predefined segments, such as:
- Gender (e.g., Male vs. Female)
- Age groups
- Product interest groups
This view is perfect for understanding how different segments respond to your campaign.
3. Campaign
The Campaign view compares your current campaign survey results with results from your previous campaigns.
For example:
- Compare this year’s Summer Campaign with last year’s.
- Compare similar campaign types over time.
This view helps you identify trends and improvements across your campaign history.
How to Use Dashboard View Modes
-
At the top-right corner of your dashboard, you will see an icon representing the currently selected view mode — Benchmark, Filter, or Campaign.
-
Click the icon to open a dropdown menu.
-
Select the view mode you want to use.
Your dashboard will update immediately to reflect your chosen comparison type.
In the Dashboard settings (the rightmost icon), you can manage what is available in each view mode:
- Select which benchmarks should appear in Benchmark view.
- Select which filters should be available in Filter view.
- Select which campaigns to compare in Campaign view.
This allows you to tailor your comparison options to your needs.
